The journey to my own home purchase was more than just a transaction; it marked a pivotal shift in my perception of the home buying process. Returning to my roots, I was inspired to help others through such a life-changing process.
It wasn't until I found myself purchasing my own home, a place where I wanted to create memories and raise a family that things began to shift for me. Up until then, my approach to buying properties had been more transactional, driven primarily by investment considerations. However, this particular purchase felt different. It felt like a place where life would grow and where I envisioned raising my children, Caitlyn and Melissa, who were still quite young at the time. The emotional weight of this decision altered the way I perceived the home buying process.
My mother had been in real estate since I was in high school and encouraged me to get licensed at 18. After college, I worked part-time in real estate before starting my corporate career. Initially, I loved learning from my colleagues and felt I had found a great career where I could grow and develop my skills. Despite my family roots in real estate, I simply didn’t relate to it on an emotional level at that point in my life.
As I climbed the corporate ladder, reaching management roles, the more I learned and experienced different facets of corporate america. One downturn forced me to lay off several employees. It was very hard for me to do. These people put years of work into the business, and just like that, it could all be taken away due to circumstances beyond their control. It was very disheartening to be a part of that difficult process. Not to mention, I was traveling a lot with young children at home.
Suddenly, I was reevaluating my career path, recognizing the corporate world no longer aligned with my values. Amidst these changing perspectives, I was undergoing a relocation to Wall Township, New Jersey, heavily relying on my REALTOR® throughout this process. I felt responsible for providing a stable, nurturing environment for my growing family. This decision was about more than a physical structure—the emotional weight and significance of finding a “forever home” weighed heavily on me.
It was eye-opening, and I found myself drawn back to the world of real estate. All these distinct experiences were beginning to come together. What started as a thought of venturing into real estate part-time quickly escalated into a full-time commitment. As I integrated into Wall Township, I constantly got involved, meeting many people who are my friends and clients to this day.
The decision to immerse myself in real estate wasn't just about a career change; it was also about being present for my family and contributing to the community I am a part of. My work has a deeper impact—with every client or team member I help, I can directly see the effects of my efforts. This was a significant shift from my corporate life.
From navigating the industry solo, I found myself becoming a mentor, establishing a team, nurturing newer agents, and cultivating a work culture founded on shared values. The journey has been rewarding and challenging, every step enriching and eye-opening.
Reflecting on this path, I often draw from the wisdom imparted by my late mother, an influential figure who instilled the importance of home ownership and conducting business with integrity. Her journey from hardship to establishing a real estate office inspires me every day.
Outside of real estate, my life revolves around cherishing moments with family and friends, spending time outside and actively contributing to local initiatives that empower our youth through education and scholarships.
Just as I carried on my mother's legacy, my daughters are now doing the same. Caitlyn works with a real estate developer in Florida, and Melissa is still in college but plans to get her real estate license soon. I’m incredibly proud of both of them and the legacy we continue to carry on!
Amidst the growth and success of The Coyle Team, I am still just as committed to maintaining the essence of personalized service and integrity. My mother instilled in me the importance of maintaining value in the services I offer above all else. This industry is about the people we serve and the stories we become a part of along the way. My mission is to maintain the same dedication and commitment in an ever-evolving landscape, ensuring everyone on my team shares these core values.
My extensive experience spans over three decades, blending a robust business background with lifelong exposure to real estate. Additionally, I have a deep knowledge of the communities here in Monmouth County and Ocean County. With a previous career selling semiconductors, I possess a deep-rooted interest in technology, enabling me to adapt swiftly to industry trends and technological advancements. Through dedication, adaptability and an unwavering commitment to service, I've navigated through shifting tides in the industry, consistently striving for excellence while contributing positively to the lives of clients and the community at large.
Sincerely,
Danielle Coyle
